The Love of God

If you read the Bible from cover-to-cover, as I believe everyone should, you discover the love of God for all the people of the world is exceedingly great.  In addition, God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Therefore, the loving God of the Bible is the same God we worship today.  You can have confidence in the fact that God cares deeply about you and your life.   God loves us so much He sent his only Son to die on the Cross to pay the penalty for our sins.  Indeed, God loves us more than we can comprehend.

Knowing God in such a way as to feel this awesome love is a matter of careful study of His Word.  By studying the pages of the Bible, you encounter an intimate connection to God that is different for each and every person.  The Bible is not just another book, it is the living and active Word of God.  The pages you read today may have a completely different meaning to you when read again two years from now.  This is because the Word of God is able to reach into your heart and connect with you in a miraculous way that can only be revealed through prayerful study.

It’s easy to have faith in God when you are consistently studying God’s Word.  This is the one tool God left behind from which we can have a personal relationship with Him.  There are many wonderful Bible teachers who can help in a study of the Word of God, but there is no better interpretation than the one that is revealed to you through your own private study.  I want to challenge you to open your heart and mind to the Bible, and I want to encourage you to take the time to read this amazing text from cover-to-cover and judge for yourself the value of the experience.  I’m certain you will be greatly blessed by this endeavor.
