The Senate Commando Officer is very rare and a must have for any true collection. The minifigures are available in the set “Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser” (8039) and “Cad Bane’s Speeder” (8128). The LEGO Senate Commando Officer was a unit that was in the Senate Guards and this was during the Clone Wars. This very elite unit was a unique reserve branch that did missions for the Judicial Department and the Galactic Senate. Their only duty was to protect the Legislature. The Senate Commando found its members from the Senate Guard and they were the experts that did only high risk missions.

One of the Star Wars Lego minifigures, the Senate Commando Officer, is new for ’10 and you can find him in the “Cad Bane’s Speeder” set (8128). This minifigure has some white markings on the blue armor and his helmet. The Senate Commando Officer is specially trained and is a non-clone and he protects the Chancellor Palpatine and the Senators. His helmet does come off to reveal his face and he is also holding a black gun. You may also see him name Senate Commando Captain. He is the one with the white markings on his body and helmet. Just a Senate Commando will have no white markings, they will only have black.
