The Tattoo Zoo

So what exactly is the tattoo zoo? Well it’s a made up word that I just pulled off the top of my head because it sounded fun. Though truth be told I liked the rhyme and I like tattoos, so really this article about the tattoo zoo is about all the different tattoo designs. Have you ever been through the books of designs that they have at tattoo parlors? It’s ridiculous. I mean how is anyone really supposed to be able to choose from amongst so many tattoo designs. There are hundreds of skull tattoo designs and probably just as many foot tattoo designs too. So how to choose?

Well, that’s what I hope to help you with. I’ve bought a couple of tattoos over the years and I love them. My oldest one is over twenty years old now and I still like and admire it. If you’re going to get a tattoo then you should think about the long term future. Ask yourself if you’d like the tattoo design you’re thinking of getting twenty or even fifty years down the road. This is very important. Another thing to keep in mind regardless of the design of the tattoo, is the quality of the artist and the tattoo shop you’re getting the tattoo from. The greatest design in the world can be made to look like junk in the wrong artist’s hands. So do your due diligence in researching the best tattoo shops in your area.

Always get your tattoo done in the sober light of day. Light, so you can see the quality of the work and sober, because there is nothing worse than getting a tattoo when you’re drunk. Besides which, most reputable tattoo shops won’t serve you if you’re drunk anyways. If you follow these few tips, you will be happy with your tattoo for years and decades to come. Just like I am. And even though tattoos can be removed more easily nowadays, that’s not the reason you got it. Right?
